Did anyone else notice that no pyro went off during the show? You could call Kane's fire pyro but I mean the explosions on the ramp during Jericho's and Angle's entrance.
My only guess other than that is that maybe they're a little hesitant on indoors pyro in places after what happened at the night club. Kinda looking into things ot see how to make it safer or whatnot. I duno. I'm tired.

Hey man, pyro's expensive, and they need to save it all up for Velocity, I guess.
Production comment -- one of the nicer Titantron sets for a PPV in awhile; especially the title's video walls. The supers were ehh -- but for a non-major, I loved the set.
Even loved the chains in near the plasma screen where all the midcarders were watching.

Geez, did you miss the beginning of the show?
That was when I was ordering dinner at the bar. I remember seeing Jericho come out with no stage pyro and the same with Team Angle. It just struck me as odd.

Actually, watching it again I noticed that Angle DID have pyro, so I've come to the conclusion that you're just goofy.
Angle definitely did have his pyro. I noticed this for sure b/c I get pissed off when Charlie Haas puts his arms up like Angle to signal the pyro while Shelton does not. It throws the whole pose off balance and I think only Angle should be the one doing that. Maybe I'm just obsessive-compulsive...

i kind of got the impression that that was always just haas trying harder to "act" than benjamin. like, haas would be all "yeah! right! you get em kurt!" and benjamin just sat there. that to me was charlie haas trying to participate in the promo more. but you could be right.
I noticed that all of Team Angle raised their arms in succession to the pyro blasts - Angle for the first blast, Haas for the second blast, Benjamin for the third blast, then all three stayed up for the final blast.

I think Shelton has a slightly "higher status" in the group than Charlie. When we had Brock fight his way through Team Angle to get to Kurt, it was Charlie first, then Shelton, then Kurt. In singles matches, Charlie gets Edge, Shelton gets Benoit (f'rinstance). So its natural that Charlie should be a bit extra enthusiastic. ("We're Avis -- we try harder.")
I don't like Haas all that much. I think he looks like Billy Gunn's bastard child. He's done nothing in the ring to impress me much. He no sold a lot of Eddy's stuff in the tag title match, so that did not endear himself to me. Shelton, though, seems to get better and better each time I see him in the ring. This guy is going to be the breakout star of the team, not Charlie.
On a side note, wasn't Russ Haas regarded as the much better of the Haas brothers? Did he look just like Charlie or was he bigger? Does anyone remember the details of his death, either?
Dean Ambrose really picked a Lumber Jack match? I can't think of too many match stipulations I dislike more. The Brie Bella stuff is something I dislike more than Lumber Jack matches. I'm hitting that indifferent stage.
