I've been searching for good pictures of old Image Comics Characters (namely Supreme and Shadowhawk) so I can make skins for them in Freedom Force. The problem is I haven't followed comics in two plus years and now have no idea where to look. I've done the basic searches in Google and have found a couple of pictures, but nothing solid enough to be a great help. Any help will be appreciated.

Check out the forums on the official Freedom Force website. I know they have several links to sites like the Skindex that actually have many comics characters already skinned.

Other than that, you might try spawn.com, I know Todd McFarlane has a 10th Anniversary ShadowHawk action figure coming out and he has some nice pictures of that you can refer to.

I would actually just suggest going to your local comics store.

Those books should easily be available in most stores' dollar bins.

Speaking of which, is that Freedom Force game any fun? I was a little thrown off by the Kirby-style character renderings as I was never really a fan of his artwork (don't everyone flame me at once please). How does the game look, and what is the play like? Thanks for any info youze guys can pass along.

Drew, if you like Silver Age kitsch in any way, you'll like this game. It's basically Diablo with Silver Age heroes. And it's a mess of fun.

It's fun, but I'm not very good at it so far. I have problems multi-tasking and controlling multiple heroes at once.

But Kitsch is Kool.

That's what the "Space Bar Pause" is for. If you ever get too lost, just pause it and get your bearings.

As I said a few threads down, awesome game.

I've never really played any of the computer games like Diablo. Most of what I have are board games (Monopoly, Clue, etc.) and Rollercoaster Tycoon. I just got Casino Mogul so I'll probably need to get bored with that before I hopefully get FF for my birthday. Glad you folks are liking it tho, and thanks for the info!

Careful! One drop of that movie could turn you all into hermit crabs. Time Bandits is a spectacular, wonderful, timeless film, with hordes of quotable quotes, and David Warner as Evil may be the BEST... VILLAIN... EVER.
