I'll be in Chicago next weekend, and am looking for a place to watch Wrestlemania on Sunday night. The WWE official "blast area" page (http://www.wwe.com/schedules/blastareas/) doesn't list any bars in the city that are showing the PPV; does anyone know of a place either within the city limits or only a short cab ride outside the city that is ordering Wrestlemania?
I remember I used to watch a lot of wrestling at The Cubby Bear, so you might try calling them and seeing if they show it. Otherwise if you can get your hands on a paper copy of the Chicago Reader the ads in Section 3 might mention bars that are showing it.
I'd invite you to watch it but for the first time ever WWE has so bored me that I will not be ordering Wrestlemania.
Palatine is up near Ohare - so you could catch the El up there and go to that place. I think that Pizzaria Duo (across the street from Pizzaria Uno) used to show them, so you could check with them. I bet some of those places in the near northside (Division street, Harry Carrey's, Hard Rock area) should have it...
Try - Ethylís Party (2600 S. Wentworth Ave.), a review says they show Smackdown
If Trish is smart, she will leave the WWE. There is nothing there for her anymore. All the good wrestlers are gone (Jazz, Gail Kim, Molly Holly) or have been re-packaged as valets or "talent" (Lita and Victoria).
