| #1 Posted on 27.7.03 1040.36 | Once Zach gets out of the McMahon's orbit and into regular matches, would he be able to use his artificial leg as a legal weapon?
Would it fall into the classic heel schtick of the cast/chest protector/steel plate in the forearm?
If someone else used the leg in a tag match, would they have a five count to get it out of the ring?

I imagine it would be pretty hard. He can't move it, so it would just get in the way. I'm sure he is very adapted to hopping around and is much more mobile with it off. | Melon' Head

The leg he uses looks like a fairly simple prosthesis, not one of those high-tech titanium-hydraulics-and-carbon-fiber jobs that you occasionally see amputee athletes using. I doubt it'd be anything more than dead weight in the ring.
"I do have a degree in electrical engineering... from almost 20 years ago. Punchcard systems were just becoming obsolete, we had rotary phones in the dorms, and a modem was still a gizmo the size of a shoebox into which you squooshed the phone receiver itself. In short, we lived like animals.
The instant obsolesence is why I became a writer. The rate of punctuation in a sentence doesn't double every 18 friggin' months, and you never have some 22-year-old looming over your shoulder, shaking his head, saying "dude... you're still using adverbs...?"

An interesting thing someone pointed out in the wrestlecrap mailbag is that technically wouldn't it be impossible for Zach to get eliminated from the Royal Rumble? I mean, the rule has always stated "Both feet must hit the ground to get eliminated." So since Zach only has one foot he could just keep getting knocked out the ring, and go back in. Right?

I'm sorry if I'm insensitive or anything - but this shit is just hilarious.
During the match we were also discussing the impossible moves in a Zack match - sharpshooter, figure 4, boston crab, headscissors, etc. It's a fun game....sigh...I'm sad. | Big Bad

That's going to be a glorious visual. Somebody like Flair going for a figure four of habit, and then suddenly realizing 'Oh shit.'

Acutally, there is a prosthesis that has a computer chip in the knee that controls the stride of the person walking, it is called a C-Leg. My wife had her leg amputated above the knee and has had one for 3 years now. It is really an amazing thing, as she can manage to go up and down hills, and other obstacles that usually give the hydraulic knees some problems. | Taff

| #15 Posted on 31.7.03 1918.18 | I reckon the prostethsis is actually used to please Steph McMahon. That's why she hired Spanky wasn't it? Remember she looked impressed wasn't kid hebner taking him and as i've said before that's a guy who can take his bumps. I also like Spanky as well buut i'd prefer if he was more a heel. They should do something with him though

Nevermind those, I don't even think anyone can give him a simple clothesline off the ropes. He'd have to hop over, bounce off, then hop back. He does a lot of crazy moves, but I think he's pretty limited in the basic moves he can execute... | ThreepMe
