I can provide context later if anyone cares, for now, I need to know...

I have a white table wine chilling in my fridge. Is returning it to room temperature before re-chilling in a few days going to do the wine any harm?

FWIW, room temperature has of course, been in the neighborhood of low 90s F (mid 30s C).

Second whole heartedly the Guru.
While on the subject, this year australians and argentinians are VERY good and usually on the cheap end. Please try any of the Australian whites and Shiraz. From Argentina, the chardonnays are awesome. Enjoy.

The folks above are correct. Definitely keep it in the fridge. Problems typically only set in when wine goes through fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The most important thing is keeping it's environment consistant, so, since it's in the fridge now, leave it in the fridge 'til you are going to drink it.

I'm also a "wine professional," and I have to wonder how long you've had it IN the fridge. I'd always caution against keeping white wines in the fridge for too long, as eventually the cork will take on too much moisture and ruin the wine. Toss a white wine in an ice bucket a good hour before you drink it, says I.

Also remember to take the wine out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you drink it. Most people drink white wine colder than it is intended to be drank.

I would check with those two vendors (firewall and Norton) and see if they have any updates. For now, I'd boot it into safe mode, uninstall both, and then download ZoneAlarm and install it.
