So we all know that every NFL team has to face the dreaded salary cap ($75 million per team per season if I'm not mistaken) ...

My question is ... Does the league enforce any kind of cap when it comes to the salaries of coaches? Do they say "you can only spend X amount on an entire coaching staff" or is it free reign?

It is free reign. The only restraint on a coaching staffs salary is the team budget.

And that's why we're at a point where some coordinators(now including Mike Zimmer in Dallas) are making seven figures...

It's getting to the point to where coaches are the focal point of the team rather than one or two players ... (See: Gruden, John; Parcells, Bill; Spurrier, Steve) ...

I echo all the same feelings ... Al Davis is just adding to the has-been club ... they are becoming the WCW of the NFL.
