I know that the ">" leads you to the first thread with a new post, but it always brings you to the first page of that thread. Is there a way to make it lead to the first unread post in a thread (for those of us who mark the forums "read")?

Hmmm, I guess I've never noticed this because I have my "posts per page" set to 100 since I also have "show only new posts" set.
It SHOULD take you to the correct page but there's probably a bug in the code...or more accurately, some MISSING code I forgot to ever put in. I'll put it on the fix list - in the mean time you *could* just change your settings to match mine... ;-)

Okay...I went back and checked, and this DOES do what you want... if you toggle on "show new posts only." (And really, why wouldn't you?)
So...upon further review, I probably won't change the behaviour of the version of this script that works with ALL posts in a thread and it'll keep taking it from the top. Sorry.
Does anyone wanna make some stables on this board? Like we can put in your info and postheader or footer who is in our stable, our slogan, who we are feuding with, etc. etc.
