Raven finished 22. Keep in mind this is an Apter Mag, so kayfabe is in full swing.

Right this minute some "reporter" for PWI is writing about a "secret" meeting he some how overheard between HHH and Kurt Angle in a small coffee shop discussing how they'll form they're own unstoppable group.

Anyone who's read PWI when they were kids will know exactly what I'm talking about...

Points of Interest:

Spanky with a well earned #43

King Kong Bundy still going strong at #333

Mark Henry appeared to be the lowest ranked of current WWE 'superstars' at #244

The PWI 500 is the only PWI I ever get anymore. An intersting read not so much for the rankings, but to keep up on the indy scene.

Hey! Where did you find this site? I've known WH for about 6 years now and still never met him even though he lives about about 6hrs away.

Is this really that more absurd then the many backstage reports we get online from "real reporter"

I think the biggest shock to me was when I heard that half of PWI's 'writers' were Bill Apter under pseudonyms.

I'm sadened that there's really no crusty old Matt Brock writing from his broken down typewriter, (because technology scares the elderly) bitter over how his Rasslin' ain't what it used to be...

Why Bill? Why?

Sean, don't forget the heel writer Eddie Ellner. He was one of my favorites. In regards to your last post, one of my favorite stories (and I may be dating myself here) was about Terry Taylor's claim that he could reunite the Freebirds. Apparently, it had something to do with dying his hair red and spiking it up. Oh, well.

What great memories. In The Wrestler, they had that cool "Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down" segment....in Inside Wrestling, the Roll Call of Champions, in Sports Review Wrestling they had a man on the street type feature where they asked different wrestlers a question of the month, and PWI had that cool bio with a poster. Many a times where my friend and I would tape a poster up in each other's house in an inconspicuous place when visiting. I would often find, long after my friend had left, a poster of Rick Martel or some assorted pretty boy in tights staring at me from my closet door.

Freakin-A, reading this post....it's not too surprising how little I got laid in high school.

Regardless, thanks for bringing back a great memory, Sean. :)

they're both about as idiotic generally, but i'll take "this happened because Vince is evil you know" over "You know, if Taker had taken Kane to that beauty salon 20 years ago he never would have helped McMahon win the buried alive match."

Oh c'mon, let's be honest, Yak. There was no "friend", was there?

Okay, you've busted me. And to make things worse, it wasn't Rick Martel, it was Demolition. I'm so ashamed. ;)

Hey, wait second, Spiffy Sean Styles?!? I got kicked in the head by him five years ago in battle royal. I haven't been the same since and yes the internet isn't what it used to be.

At least it wasn't The Adorable One, Adrian Adonis. I used to tell my mom all the time that Adrian was my brother's favorite wrestler (he was about 6 at the time) and she would harass him about it all the time. I think he still hates me for it.

The very same. His ranking was as much a part of his gimmick as being "ovah".

He still shows up from time to time.

Spiffy is a good guy. He was supposed to be on a TNA ppv a few months ago, but plans got changed after he got there and he ended up doing a dark tag match or something. He never catches the breaks.

The show was definitely hit or miss tonight. That Triple H match killed the crowd. They made up for it with that awesome Goldberg segment though. The crowd was eating it right up.
