    c) Nobody else finds it interesting that it's @HeymanHustle whom Punk retweeted with the first photos of Punk at the panel ?

    d) I'm curious about the logistics of the several security-type guys & better-than-iPhone-quality camera operator that Punk had with him in the longer video (youtube.com).

    e) This is awesome!

    f) Colt Cabana is CM Punk's house sitter?

A) Agreed, I thought it was innuendo too.

B) Ryder just got a new TV shirt, has Cena stepping up for him, and fits right in the whole social media stuff. I can see him getting more exposure on TV.

C) Punk did say in the first promo "That's right, I'm a Heyman guy". You know, there's someone who would make a decent mystery GM......

D) If the whole thing is a worked shoot, I wouldn't be shocked if they better than quality camera was WWE staff.

E) I'm eagerly anticipating where they could go next with this.

you kind of need to be a listener of Cabana's podcast to get how good friends they actually are but yeah they are usually at one or the others place.

WWE releases their own footage of the incident, playing up Hunter's reaction (and a retort we couldn't hear, "I'll call Beth and get your number from her," which came off kinda weak).

The most interesting thing about that vid is that you see what happens in the room after Punk leaves and HHH practically gets the crowd to turn their allegiance to the WWE side of the situation.

The Champ is Here.

Here is apparently at the AAW show tonight in Berwyn, IL. I almost went to this on the 1% chance Punk appeared. I should have listened to my gut.

Hunter brought up a very good point, and did a good job being the voice of reason. (And man, it's still weird seeing Bret Hart sitting right next to him! I wonder what role he's currently playing in the organization, aside from his occasional appearances on television.)

I reserve the right to take back my Hunter-appreciation if the end result of the angle is simply that Hunter beats Punk for the title, however.

I still dunno about that. Punk didn't really overtly mention WWE or the belt or anything; he just cut a brief promo putting over Gregory Iron, who has cerebral palsy. Seems more like something he was able to do because of the angle, rather than to further it.

(edit: just use the link in graves' post, it's the same one.)

I actually find this 1000x cooler than if he had come out with the belt and cut a "I'm the best in the world, WWE blew it" promo.

Maybe. Was thinking to go just for the sake of seeing their first TV taping, but Punk walking thru would be fun.

I'm almost positive this isn't the first AAW show Punk's been at in the last few years; it's just the first where he's not only watched the show from a dark (and secured) corner.

(didn't think the Bill Simmons column was any good, FWIW.)

Punk was on Kimmel last night, doing a skit with Cousin Sal and his son. amusing.

Punk also allegedly on BS Report today. (Simmons tried to get him last week to no success.)

It seems that the "doofus son-in-law" isn't as stupid as CM Punk thought, huh. If we actually see a return of WWE Ice Cream Bars (it doesn't really matter what company puts them out), I'd say he's a down right genius.

Also, with CM Punk back, does this mean Steph DID have his number?

He was on for about 45 minutes and it was a pretty good interview. Simmons seems to at least know what he's talking about when interviewing wrestlers at least.
