Saw the Punisher yesterday, and half way through the movie they call in the Russian to take care of Frank Castle. So in comes the Russain looking like a gigantic mute platinum blond, clean shaven Sailor. (little did I realize it was Kevin Nash till I looked it up on

The Russain looked gigantic compared to the 5-10 (6'0 foot listed) Thomas Jane. I was wondering who the hell is this guy he should be in wrestling. Nash looks so different without the beard.

Punihser's a decent flick. Thomas Jane as Frank Castle exudes charisma and carries the movie. Nash was not bad, no silly power bombs or boot to the face moves.

Wow that was Kevin Nash.
I didn't even recognize. Hell even thinking back I can't say as I see a lot of resemblance.
I think he did a great job as the Russian though.

I heard he was gonna be in The Punisher back in August when he cut his hair, so that wasn't a surprise. But the lack of his beard was a surprise. He just looked so different without it.

Nash was not difficult to recognize at all if you saw him in late August with the bleached blonde crew cut.

Good movie. It's a very good time to be a comic book fan. The Punisher wasn't mindblowingly spectacular (like, say, X2), but it joins Hellboy as a good, solid movie.

The only problem is that as much as we don't like viewing paid programming, that's what most local stations depend on for money. There are all kinds of advertising dollars coming in, but I don't see any local station moving those for a wrestling show....
