Second straight MVP for Pujols and third overall. The model of consistency since he joined the league in 2001. What a decade. Promote this thread!

In his nine major league seasons, he has finished lower than fourth in the MVP balloting just once. He has seven finishes of third or higher. He's amazing. (edited by TheBucsFan on 26.11.09 0018)
If Jimenez struggles in the leadoff role, but excels otherwise, and if Joe Randa continues being Joe Randa, I could see the Reds getting Freel a lot of time at third to to get his bat and speed at the top of the lineup. Purely idle speculation though.
