One of the forgotten entries in the series, since '98 was the first Dream Match and probably the best entry of them all, and '00 was SNK's big fan-service sendoff to the series before they went under. They started a new story arc, went a lot darker with just the way things looked, and it was their first stab at a few new things, some of which wound up being implemented going forward (strikers), and some of which we'd all like to forget (4-person teams). Is it worth $6? Absolutely. But you're probably better off shelling out $20 and hunting down one of the two discount titles they released recently for PS2 - I'd go with King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match, which is probably the best version of any game in the series (having not played the '02 Ultimate Match released in Japan this past February) over the King of Fighters Orochi Collection, which contains '94 through '98, although both are great.
