I like this as I have seen the movie a few times, but I don't own the movie. My only hope is that this game is longer than the first Batman game.

software update: 3.73. Usually vague fix, but this one is OPTIONAL.

Had the same problem. R1 should send the electricity from the magnet one way, R2 the opposite. It works the same for the doors. One is up, the other is down. There's a hint on screen, but it's very poorly placed and I missed it the first few times.

I just noticed this in the game; this may be why it's good to stop playing games when you're stuck and coming back fresh.
Did not try the Augmented Reality yet, got sidetracking with the search flare (and the side quest it kicks off) when it first came up and haven't been back out that way yet.

The controls are difficult enough to get use to, and I end up using the grapple when I don't mean to and miss the phone (along with other times when I hit the wrong buttons). Other than that though, a great game so far, and even though it is similar to the first game, I love the open world nature of this one.

Granted, I've answered one phone so far, so maybe I haven't hit the hard ones yet. (I can see the "start at Ivy's lair, get to Wayne Tower in 15 seconds" payphone challenge coming 10 miles away in the fog.)
