a short story, #1: I was at Gamestop over the weekend. Between trading in five different games and various discounts/bonuses, I ended up reserving Batman for $0.24. A fair price, no doubt, but since I was there and had a little more money to waste than I thought, I asked the salesperson if the PS Moves were still on sale. He said no, and proceeded to warn me about what a horrible idea it would be to buy that under supported devices. An amazing failure those things turned out to be.
a short story, #2: I got to play a little bit of the Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One beta. It feels like a R&C game crossed with a coin operated side scrolling arcade game. There was a internet communication problem the crashed the game on me, but as long as they get those sorts of things cleaned up before the release, the format is going to work online pretty well. I have no idea when I'm going to get this, but it looks good
a short story, #3: Got the Uncharted 3 mutliplayer demo, haven't played it. Was amazingly horrible at it last time thru, looking forward to being killed about 10 times before I give up and just start waiting until November again.

I'm actually surprised they haven't done preorders prior. They get the money right away, and refunds are probably easier than real life, since you're just adding credit back to an account. ===========

It's good! The third in the series, and at this point the series was evolving rather than just tweaking/roster-updating (not that they all weren't great). But you can just get 94-98 with the Orochi Saga set for the PS2 for about $20. Plus, if say, '98 is available on the PS Store, that would be the one to go with.
I hear you. I think LucasArts works harder on their games, and I find them alot more polished, but the Sierra games were all labors of love. Plus the "series" effect really aided them as opposed to hurting them.
