I meant to do this at the same time I picked up the game, but I stalled on getting it Tuesday when there were no reviews - apparently they didn't start showing up till later in the afternoon. IGN's review (the only one up Tuesday) says it's an patented EA "if you got last year's, you've got most of this year's - but it's still pretty good". GameTap has the high review, GameSpot has the low review, but that one has a catch. It's a combo review with the XBox 360 version, which sounds a lot more buggy than PS3. I believe that makes the score PS3 1!, XBOX 360 184.
(and Wii like 5,000,000)
I think I'll pick this up this weekend.
There's actually THREE WHOLE GAMES out this week. Big week for PS3
08/28: Warhawk - Multi Player First Person Shooter + Flying. It's all multiplayer - up to 32 a the same time! - and almost all online (though you can also build and host on your own server). Looks like it's getting really good reviews, though they warn against a steep learning curve (especially since there's no single player to warm up.)
You can buy it for $40 in the PS3 store, or $60 from an actual store (with a little more content and a headset.)
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (The W at Amazon) (Standard) $59.96 Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (Art Book Packaging) - Xbox One Art Book Packaging Edition (Art Book Packaging) $59.99 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z - Playstation 3 $59.
