I have what seems to me an odd problem with having game updates stall out when I am trying to download them over my wireless connection, and last night was sufficiently annoying enough for my to finally ask about it.
1. When I turned on my PS3 it said a system update was required. I downloaded the entire update v4.25 with no problem over my wireless connection.
2. I put in my Madden 13 disc and was told I need to install game update 1.02. *groan*
3. Naturally my update stalled out a bunch of times as I tried to update over the wireless connection. Because that happens ALL the time no matter the game title or size of the download.
4. I disconnected the 50' ethernet cable from my router and dragged it all through the house and down the stairs and plugged it into my PS3 so I could download over the wired connection.
So is there a server difference in system updates vs. game updates? It really doesn't make any sense that I could download a much larger system update with no problems (and I never have problems with those) but not a game update (which I can NEVER completely download).
