OK...looking into getting the PS2, but Best Buy is advertising a "special edition" at $179. Other local stores are selling the PS2 for $179, but they don't mention "special edition".
Anybody here know what the hell the difference is?
edit: Yes...it's "Limited" Edition...short term memory=BAD.

Because I can't see anything special about that other than it's a regular old PS2, but that may be what's special about it, since its not one of the newer ones (bestbuy.com) that comes with the network adapter (and I think a built-in IR port for the DVD remote).
I had heard something about Sony dropping the price on the online bundle to $179.99, but the above ad indicates I may be incorrect.

It appears that the "Limited" is ugly colors?
It also appears that Best Buy is listing a completely wrong price for the "Limited Edition", as the Sony website has them over $300!
Why would a special color PS2, be a bit of history?
