Why are these so hard to find? Does anyone else have a hard time finding one of these?
"HHH, you should probably do the job here to put RVD over for the good of the company." "Vince, I'm just a caveman! I was out hunting when I fell in some ice and was unfrozen by your scientists. Your future world frightens and confuses me. You say these words like "job" and "put over" and "good of the company" but my primative mind can't grasp these concepts!"---Vince Mcmahon/Unfrozen Caveman Wrestler, Dr. Unlikely 17.9.02
I lucked out and managed to get one while on vacation at an Electronics Boutique in an out of the way spot. It was the only one they had not already pre-sold.
Madden 2003 is a lot of fun to play on-line. It moves quickly and the interface is as good as it can be - it's probably even better if you have a keyboard for the PS2. I just got NBA 2K3 and tried that on-line, and it's not so great for online play - I was playing against two guys (on one remote PS2), and after I started winning, one of them switched over to my side and if he managed to get the ball, he'd shoot from halfcourt or intentionally turn it over. You'd think they would have made it impossible for someone to switch over like that. They also kept rapidly pausing and unpausing during free throws. Madden's online mode doesn't seem to have any problems like that, so I wonder if the same kinds of things pop up in NFL 2K3 or don't show up in Live 2003.
I'm also - and this could be me missing something obvious - not sure you can play with updated rosters online, which seems pretty stupid considering Sega and EA respectively put out the updates. I hope I'm missing something there. On the plus side, the latest roster update for NBA 2K3 just added Yao Ming, who wasn't allowed to be in to the shipped version of the game because he hadn't signed yet. That'll be nice for Franchise mode, but if you can't play with him (or things like the Stackhouse/Rip Hamilton trade) in online mode, that's a big disappointment. Still, I could be missing something.
Other than the aforementioned sports games, and I think SOCOM, what games can be played with the adapter? I've heard that FFXI will be a network game (when does that come out?) Basically, I'm wondering if there are any other games out there that might make me rush out and get the adapter, or if I should wait till FFXI.
I believe I have found a place that has them, and they even sell them for 35 bucks, BRESoftware
And still better, this place is in my hometown, about a five minute drive from my house.
Edited to change the click here, and to add some info.

What country are these from? They obviously aren't the American versions, because I had all of these and they looked nothing like them. Popeye was a Parker Bros. game and Donkey Kong was a Coleco game.
