I have time to do this on a Friday this week.

this week's games. Sale on too. I don't think there's a game on the PS4 list I'd really want to buy, except maybe Borderlands because I never played more than a couple hours of it and I think I'd need a crew to play it and that's not happening. I think I'm just writing this paragraph because I'm jealous of people who have a group of regular people to play co-op multiplayer in games. Like, I'm never going to play Destiny 2 for a lot of reasons, but I'd be at least persuaded to play it if I was in a crew that did. I guess a lot of friendships I have now were forged from a unexpected interactions about shared interests on the internet, but I can't imagine that happening in 2017 in video games. (This article from Polygon is on my mind.)

And I write all of this while the game I'm really playing I'm playing in the most solitary manner proper. So maybe it's just me. But that's another story.

I'm not going to do them, but I think I could cut out the PS VR games without anyone noticing and caring. I can't think of a VR game that's really been a hit so far and all of those games sound more basic.

"Basic" is a good way to describe most of the VR games. The VR games have been totally underwhelming. We've broken it out mostly as a party game type thing, and the Job Simulator is still everyone's favorite. I think I'm more into because my lack of coordination is pretty well hidden with the VR games that we have, like Rigs and 100-Foot Robot Golf, compared to the non-VR games that require actual skill. Like, when Doom comes out for the VR, my boyfriend will likely be using the VR more than me, but there aren't many of those types of skill games for the VR yet, and I think that is a major downside.

I think Borderlands is way more fun without a crew. Again, my gaming skills suck, and the only times I've played multiplayer is when my boyfriend and his friends let me tag along and level up, but I like solo play better. I also spend forever tweaking weapon choices and outfits, so I think I'd annoy anyone with me in a crew. Destiny was way better with multiplayer, especially with the taunts!
