...for a second season of Dollhouse, so sayeth both Michael Ausiello of EW (ausiellofiles.ew.com) and the Hollywood Reporter (thrfeed.com). With the DVR, Hulu and DVD pre-sale numbers strong, with Fox reportedly liking the creative direction (at least according to THR), and with Kevin Reilly setting the precedent in the past (vis-a-vis The Office's first season), the only remaining issues would seem to be reducing costs (on the end of Fox), and getting the show out of the Friday death zone (on the end of Joss and everyone else in the free world).
It's not a done deal yet, but I'm feeling much more hopeful today about the show's future than I've felt for a while now.

The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future. | |

I feel bad cuz alot of my coworkers liked the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but its officially gone (ausiellofiles.ew.com).
In better news apparently Chuck and Better Off Ted got picked up.

FOX upfronts were this morning: Still on Friday, still at 9:00 PM, but with an even crappier set of lead-ins (Brothers & 'Til Death). C'mon, FOX, you owed us already for the pre-mature Firefly cancellation; you don't have much goodwill to burn through.
And why on earth put Fringe at 9:00 PM Thursdays? It's going to get slaughtered there. Why not make Fringe the Dollhouse lead-in? Seriously...
