But, since the new version got pushed out, I've had a problem with the Firefox process staying active even after the browser is closed. And of course, Firefox won't run again until I use Task Manager to kill the old process. Anybody else seen this? Promote this thread!

Some sites freeze my Firefox. Only in those cases, when I close the window, I have to go to the task manager to kill it off completely. But if I close the window normally (not because of a freeze), I dont have this problem.

Nuclear Winter) Mine's been doing that for a while. Combine that with a memory leak and you've got some creamy goodness right there. Haven't been able to pin down any causes, though.
Has he tried power cycling the cable box? (Unplug it, wait 10-15 seconds, the plug it back in...) Is he getting *any* images on the screen (TV menus, static when the cable pox is unplugged, ANYTHING?)
