Christian hasn't signed yet but people in TNA expect him to be gone and people in WWE expect him to be in. In 2008, Edge and Christian will no longer be for the benefit of those with flash photography, they will be for the benefit of those with cel phones that record video.
All we need is the return of Trish Stratus and I can finally have my 2005 dream group of The Christian S.E.C.T. Except this time it'd be Trish and Vickie being bitchy to each other on the double dates instead of Trish and Lita.| Promote this thread! | | RYDER FAKIN

Getting Tomko is a big plus, cause they get a "naturally big" guy who can move in the ring. Kind of in the Matt Morgan mould, though I think they really missed the boat with him.

I think Tomko would do better without E&C. Stick him on ECW, the talent exchange with Raw gives him plenty to do. (JBL and Jericho could use some backup, Regal could try and make a gentleman out of him, worst case, Snitsky and Knox could use tag partners.)
(Don't laugh, if he can win tag gold with A-Train in Japan, the dude can work with ANYONE.)

Well, A-train was never a bad wrestler. Just blessed with extremely bad hair and gimmicks.
And I doubt it will spite Vince if you make someone champion (in a fed he claims has no relevance) when he already dumped them 3 years ago because he didn't seen an upside. Especially when other champions come back to the WWE and accept midcard spots (R-Truth)

No, that's a terrible idea. He doesn't need repackaging, a singles push or new friends. He needs Christian and Christian needs Tomko. As soon as Christian lost Tomko in TNA he lost his mojo. Some guys are threats to titles, because they are tough guys. Other guys are threats to titles because they hang around with tough guys.

Isn't this the same company that had the owners fight with each other only to return united for no apparent reason over and over again? Besides in WWE logic 2001 might as well be 50 years ago.

You mean the owners that have teamed and feuded countless times since 2001? I wasn't saying they wouldn't return simply because they split. I was saying that because they haven't been a team in SEVEN YEARS, that it's silly to ASSUME they will come back as a team.

But all joking aside. Yes it is too much to think that as Edge is the WWE Champion right now. He is the Main heel of Smackdown, and he is with Vicki so how can you explain he takes a step backwards to team with Christian?
Most people got tired of the Reunion of DX and the Hardys after a few weeks.
It is best to leave the past in the past and Stick Tomko on ECW and Christian on RAW.

You have to figure he has talked to Edge, his best friend in wrestling, about coming back to do something with him that gives him a good shot at having an important spot. Especially when Smackdown has zero heel depth beyond Edge and Big Show, and La Familia has been disbanded on account of their sucking. I don't think Tomko signing right now is a coincidence either -- it seems like they've got something tentatively cooked up.
