He's got rotator cuff tendinitis, is out at least 3 weeks. Whatever happened to those perfect mechanics he had in 2003? If they're that bad now, which they are, you have to wonder if he was ever healthy after that season.| Promote this thread! | | AWArulz

What, you thought they've gone 98 years without a World Series win (61 without a pennant) via good, sound management?
I would not be a bit surprised if the individuals on the team from your area were sexually attracted to members of their own gender. That is how ineffective they are on the field of battle. | Eddie Famous

Marmol looks like he will be very good, Marshall has had some good outings, they had a kid make his first ML start a couple days ago and it was a good one, and some hold out hope for Rich Hill (though not me). The reason there is nothing in the minors is - thay are all in the majors!

Maybe the Cubs will do the little things, like take infield before games and have the coaches work with them instead of giving clinics to fat, rich, old, businessmen. I'm hoping they promote Von Joshua to ML hitting coach, myself.
They want to deliver vast amounts of information over the internet. And again, the internet is not something you just dump something on. It's not a truck.
It's a series of tubes.

Scene: Mark DeRosa's brain. The year is 2005. Part of Mark DeRosa's brain: Come on, another position change? One day it's second base, the next day right field, now it's third? Why, I oughta go into Buck's office and throw his talking fish on the floor! Other part of Mark DeRosa's brain: Hold on, other part of the brain. We're making $500,000 this year. Last year we made $725,000. All for playing a damn kids' game. This is, as they say in Brainland, a no-"us"-er. We're not going to complain. Part of Mark DeRosa's brain: You're right, dude. Let's go back to looking at this crazy porn Teixeira gave us!
