I know it's right, 'cause I counted the votes!
Apparently they tripled the attendance of the caucus this go round - which makes sense, 'cause that schoolroom was CRAMPED yo.
We elected six delegates and six alternates to the....whatever the next level's called. With fourteen nominees, I came in tied for ninth. I am not disappointed in the least that I will now have that Saturday free, given the speech I got to make at the caucus which began "Well, I'm a registered Libertarian, but..."

He didn't win our precinct, but Paul took the district! (He still only finished fourth in the state, though.)
Looks like the total votes cast at our caucus was 137 - which is an AMAZING turnout for a GOP caucus in this 'hood. Even more interesting is that it was mostly U students...which means that barring another 11th hour visit by a candidate, we'll probably go right back to flatline in 2012.
(This is only interesting to me!)
