A startup groups has expressed recent interest in creating a Pro Wrestling, Anime, Mixed Martial Arts and Hong Kong Action Flix channel that would run on cable and/or satelite services.
They have asked us to link a survey to see how diehard fans of those genres would respond to such a new channel. It would obviously be a big boon to the wrestling business in the US to have a dedicated channel.
I've never really thought about a non-WWE wrestling channel, and if the other sides of programming go well, this looks like it could be a hit. There are tons of Japanese and US indy stuff that I would like to be able to see without finding obscure tapes. I say: GOOD IDEA, now lets see someone actually do it.
Pro Wrestling, Anime, Mixed Martial Arts and Hong Kong Action Flicks channel?
IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! It sounds way too good to be true though. If that channel came into existance, that would pretty much be the only thing I'd watch on TV!

You're probably right. Considering whoever set that site up can't even afford to pay for webhosting/buy their own domain, I would have my doubts that they could afford to open a television station.
On the main page of the site, however, there's a 13MB "demo" of the channel. Anyone want to download that and fill us dialup users in on what it contains?
Bollocks! Even this brainchild comes to fruition, competition in advertising laws and other bogus government red tape means I won't see it on my Canadian cable package for years. Argh! Would love for this chanel to show old matches from the kayfabe days, though. I'd also love to see the guys who do the play-by-play for Most Extreme Elimination Challenge re-do the commentary for classic matches... that would be hilarious.

basically it shows small clips of anime kung fu movies and wrestling
They are trying this out on a UK channel before a full wrestling channel. It's quite good, programmes I've seen so far are:
*Ring of Honor *NWA-TNA *UK Wrestling *Japanese Wrestling (I think Michinoku Pro but that could be wrong) *Ohio Valley Wrestling *Wrestling Classics (Not sure what fed but it has - Roddy Piper, The Road Warriors and Barry Windham) - Any ideas? *UPW
Thread ahead: WWE to start having TWO PPV'S A MONTH! Is there too much brand competition? Next thread: ROH rules Previous thread: Possibly the end of the world
So, I watch the first five minutes of Raw, see it's HHH, and so my girlfriend and I watch a movie instead. Movie ends just in time for the final match. I explain to her, there's certain things I won't explain, so don't ask (i.e.
