Hope I'm not annoying anyone with this. Does any Mainer know which side of the Cumberland County Civic Center the wrestlers enter on? Girlfriend got me tickets this Monday, and since she's never been, she'd like to watch them come in before the show.

I was annoyed that you registered a fourth account, so I deleted it and moved this post back to your original one. I'm too lazy to answer your question, but not too lazy to do this. Yes.

The entrance is at Cross St. --you can't miss it. You'll see all the WWE trailer trucks. Get there early and you can see everybody come in. In 2002 I got autographs from Edge, Christian, and The Hurricane while standing there.
They close the street off so the wrestlers can park there.
Sometimes they park in the lot across from there. In the late eighties I walked behind the carpooling Mr. Perfect, Big Bossman, and Akeem. Hard to believe two of the three are dead now.
I've also had Quebecker Pierre roll down his window and ask directions. We ended up sitting in a booth near him at TGI-Fridays. I passed Vince's limo on the way to an Augusta show a few years ago (Was Zack Gowen really TWO summers ago?) I remember sitting behind the Undertaker at a tollbooth before a Springfield MA show once.
All these little pre-show sightings and meetings are, to me, more fun than the shows themselves....

I, too, remember a carpool with those three (Bossman, Akeem, and Perfect) I also remember a very pissed off Nikolai Volkoff yell what seemed to be perfect English "Get out of my way you son of a bitch!") I was pretty young then and I was shocked by the language. I also remember seeing Shawn Micheals very close up and thinking "Man, TV doesn't do that guy justice, he looks friggin larger than life." I miss those Portland Expo house shows.

I'll back you up on that. When the RAW brand was here in Minneapolis for a house show this past January, HBK shook my hand and I remember how huge his cranium was. I wonder if he has to get his hats custom made...

Mmmmm...now that is a tasty burger!

Firstly: it's Zbyszko. Secondly: You don't know if that challenge was a rib or not. You don't know if some sleaze like Borash put him up to making the challenge. You can't be sure he wasn't taking his old pal Curt Hennig's lead and appearing drunk.
