When I visit Wienerville using Mozilla, no pop-ups of course. But I am using Explorer today, and I have had one Save Now! Online Betting pop-up (in the football forum) and one Retire From Home In The Next 12-18 Months pop-up (when I was typing a response in the hockey forum).

Are we turning into 1Wrestling? Can we expect an exclusive "pop-up free" Member's Area of Wienerville sometime soon?

Or (more likely) is this happening due to certain Wieners linking to certain sites through their personal pictures?
I don't think the ads were lurking in my memory, because /Slash is my homepage and I came directly to Wienerville from there.

I'm always using Explorer and it hasn't happened to me.

-Jag

Unless I had another site open and attributed the pop-ups to it at the time?

Get Ad-aware from Tucows and run it to check on Spyware on your comp.

It's not us, and I don't know of a way to do pop-ups via a linked image. I'd check your system - it's most likely something file sharing or shareware that you have installed.

Most of these seem common sense to me and a few I can understand due to timeliness, but... ...what the hell is the fascination with Rob Dibble?
