OK...so I've go MSN 9 and it has a built in pop up blocker. I installed that about a month ago. I have the google toolbar with a popup blocker. I downloaded that about 3 months or so ago. But now I have a new popup blocker on my IE and I have no clue what it is. There is a message that runs the length of my screen under the toolbars that says "pop ups blockes, please click for more info..." I didn't download that one. Im thinking that it might be from Windows XP Service Pack 2 which I just installed. But I'm also worried it might be some type of spyware so I don't wanna click it. Anyone know if this is a feature of one of teh Windows Service Packs? Thanks in andvance....

It is part of the security features from sp2. It's mostly harmless.

At 8 years old I would say to listen more to parent Rinberg over privacy advocate. At 8 years old I honestly can't see the child having anything going on in their development where unknown monitoring would violate the spirit of letting them grow.
