There's a lot of debate about what people will be satisfied with with regards to Triple H, and whether or not they're satisfied with ANY potential outcome.

From my understanding, Triple H retaining his title, under any circumstances, is unacceptable. Even a repeat of the Royal Rumble finish where the challenger destroys HHH and leaves him lying in a pool of his own blood despite only winning by DQ. Booker T has to win the title.

Also, Booker T winning in any manner that's not 100% clean is unacceptable. If there's so much as a low blow or a handful of tights involved in the outcome, then Triple H has an excuse for losing.

Finally, Booker T has to win the title cleanly AND not drop it right back to Triple H(which seems to be the concensus for the path of the title should Booker win it).

So, tell me...what finish to that match, if any, would satisfy you?

HHH jobs clean.

The *only* acceptable option.

Otherwise, everything he's said about Booker (not in his league, "his kind" aren't championship material, etc.) would be validated.

I don't agree with that at all. If HHH gets the living shit kicked out of him and only retains through outside interference then Booker has proven himself better even if he doesn't leave with the title.

Ultimately I want the feud to end with Booker going over but this doesn't have to happen at WM.

I see Booker T winning clean at WM, but then getting overshadowed by a HHH/Goldberg angle in the month afterwards. I do not believe, with or without the belt, that the WWE will really give Booker T the ball and let him run with it 100%.

Booker T pinning HHH cleanly.

Then HHH stands and grabs a mike, apologizing to the fans for any and all backstage maneuvering and vowing to stop dating Stephanie and dropping 25 pounds of steroid-induced muscle and regaining the form that shot him to the top in 2000.

Next, RVD comes out and challenges HHH to an impromptu match, nails him with a 5-star, and pins him cleanly in about a minute.

Next, Kane comes out, takes off his mask, and says "Please explain to me why I had to do the Katie Vick angle and then job to you." Triple H responds with geniune tears.

Then, HHH gets on the phone and calls everyone who was either at or bought Wrestlemania 2000 and apologizes for not putting Rock over.

Finally, HHH gets ready to leave, before Jeff Hardy comes out and demands a match for a brand new Intercontinental title, and wins it after a hard-fought ladder match.

.......................

.......................

Either that, or Triple H just puts Booker T over cleanly. One or the other will make me happy.

(By the way, this post has been written with complete sarcasm. Triple H sucks, he's the devil, blah blah blah.)

That would kick ass! Tease the fans with the finish they were afraid of (especially after this week's Raw) then give them the finish they want.

sergei

edit: Oh and one more thing. Not the bookend, not the scissors kick, the finisher needs to be the Houston Hangover!!

After 20 minutes of back and forth action, Booker hits the scissors kick then goes for the pinfall, 1-2, Flair pulls the Book out of the ring. Booker lays him out with a stiff right, rolls back into the ring. Trips sets him up with a boot, then goes for the Pedigree. Book breaks it, nails Trips with a Bookend, 1-2-3. Book goes over clean. That would rule!

If Booker doesn't go over clean, then to me the WWE is tacitly agreeing with the whole idea that Booker is not the "kind of person" who deserves to win a belt. If they let HHH retain not only will I be pissed, but I'm writing the NAACP the next day just to try and get someone else on Vince's ass.

Booker connects the scisscor kick. Gets a 2 count before Flair pulls him out. He gets Flair out his hair as Triple H has Naitch destract the ref as he lands the hammershot and delivers the pedigree...gets the 1,2,3. The growd boo's...and then the match gets restarted when the ref's see what happened, and Booker lands the Book End followed by Harlem heat for the big gold belt.

One of two possibilities will work just fine - HHH jobs the title clean, or HHH jobs the title clean as a result of Flair turning on him. Side note to Hunter: Notice the factor that's consistent to both these scenarios, process it, and make sure it stays in that stubborn pea-sized brain of yours.

Are we talking about the ending to the feud or the ending to the Wrestlemania match? I can live with HHH going over at WM by screwjob of some sort IF AND ONLY IF Booker gets a rematch at Backlash and goes over clean.

If HHH retains by any means and then goes on to feud with Goldberg, I would find that unacceptable, because losing this feud isn't going to do anything for Booker.

HHH is always the most entertaining when he's just lost "his" belt. I can see some great stuff coming out of HHH fuming over how someone so beneath his stature could have won the title, and vowing to get it back, setting up a another month or two of HHH/Booker with HHH chasing.

Is it just me, or has HHH been getting a lot of shades of his Greenwich Snob character (V2, not V1) back? I'm kind of digging it, and the whole "Booker T is beneath me" shtick fits in really good with this.

(This is all sarcasm, BTW.)

From my understanding, all of the following must happen:

Booker T must win the match by pinfall or submission. He must win the title completely cleanly, with no outside interference at all and no backfired interference from Triple H's side. No foreign objects, no low blows, tights, ropes, etc.

Likewise, he must win decisively with one of his big moves and not a quick rollup that would make it look like a fluke.

After the match, Triple H must never challenge Booker T for the title again, because that would involve the possibility of Triple H regaining the title and thus rendering Booker's original win meaningless. Likewise, none of the following should challenge Booker for the title: Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, X-Pac, or Justin Credible, seeing as how the members of the Clique are all merely separate components of a single evil entity.

Triple H must never speak of the loss as anything other than a complete and total crushing defeat at the hands of a better man, with no excuses whatsoever. Bonus points if he retires immediately following the match. Extra bonus points if a career-ending injury is involved.

Triple H must never hold the World Title again. Likewise, he cannot jump to Smackdown and challenge for the WWE Title, on the offhand chance that it might make people think that the WWE Title is more important than the World Title.

Did I get everything?

I like the concept of a Dusty finish, but there's nobody with enough stroke in the WWF world that is not a heel. Morley, Bischoff and McMahon are ALL HEELS. So...

I'd have Hebner do it.

Book & HHH have a good back & forth match. Flair wanders down to ringside and Goldust goes to beat him up. Hebner's distracted by this and HHH clocks Book with the belt behind his back. 1-2-3. Finito! Hebner sees the replay on the TitanTron and calls for the match to be restarted and throws Goldy & Flair out. Another good back & forth segment...then, KICK WHAM AXEKICK! And it's over!

1)Finger-Poke of Death. Booker wins.

2)Early sunday HHH is injured lifting Stephs breast. So it's a new match: Booker T vs. David Arquette. Booker wins.

3)Booker is hurt so he can't wrestle. So a new Iron Man match is called: HHH vs. Mike Ditka. Ditka wins 72 falls to 0.

I'm a HHH mark, but I would love to see WWE give Booker the chance to run with the title at least 3 months, or more.
And I'm with those who want the Houston Hangover! Booker T has been held down by the booking crew and needs a chance, he made the Big Show have an outstanding match last summer at a PPV. I've always liked Booker from Harlem Heat to 5 time, 5 time,...WCW Champ, so hopefully WWE pulls a Russo(in that they finally give him the strap).

Is this Matt Morgan the guy from TE2 (or was it 3) that was big and got a leg injury early on and had to leave, and during the try-outs JR kept commenting they liked him but he was old (like 24 or something) and if he was gonna learn, he had to learn NOW?...
