Did anyone else catch this last night? From the previews it looked decent, but after watching...I don't know.

I won't spoil much, but it came off kind of like Dawson's EVIL Creek. It looks like it picks up a little in tonights episode though.

Just curious to see what other W's thought.

I watched it because it had Dina Meyer in it and I haven't seen her in something in, like, forever. The first episode was indeed sloooow, but it is the first episode in a series that has most likely a lot more plot and backstory than say, The OC. The second episode, for what it's worth, was about five times more exciting and it really started some momentum that was nonexistent in the premiere.

Was it just me, or did everyone else wish that Christina would just set Jesse on fire every scene he was in. That guy's acting is so annoyingly bad that it drags down every scene he is in. The rest of the cast seems pretty good though. Dina Meyer is indeed awesome in this and I'll probably continue to watch the show despite its flaws.

Thanks for a great season, Pick of the Week fans...see you next year at Planet Magic in Denmark, WI!

They lost me when the symbol for this cataclysmic battle (which I can't find a picture of) looked way too much like...

I will definitely have to rent Hugo. Hugo is one of those movies that made me wish I had a child that I could convince them that "they" would want to see this movie. I will have to avoid the Johnny English sequel.
