I have been efforting to find a wrestling podcats that is funny, informative and entertaining. I used to listen to Monday Night Meltdown/PWR. The hosts are obsessed with schmoozing C level talent, promoting indy shows, and talking about wrestlers they've drafted in a fantasy wrestling competition. I gave them a listen because they are local guys with a TV show. Any suggestions on a better podcast?

I like www.wrestlingroundtable.com I would recommend their youtube channel as well. Bunch of Philly/New York guys who bullshit about wrestling and MMA. I will say their host seems to be a mark for himself, but really anyone who runs a podcast is probably a mark.

I started listening to the Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana after it was mentioned a little while ago. http://the-w.com/art-of-wrestling-podcasts-with-daniel-bryan-dolph-ziggler-and-more
I enjoy it. The only other wrestling podcast I listen to is the infrequently updated Joe Vs. The World.

Colt is making a name for himself and gaining a following with these podcasts much like Zack Ryder did with Z True Long Island Story.

There really is a ton of outstanding wrestling content out there, some of which I am only just discovering.

While not a podcast, Peter Rosenberg's interviews with CM Punk, Jessa Ventura, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and others are all very good. http://www.youtube.com/user/petererosenberg/videos

if you count internet radio shows that are re-playable via i-tunes as podcasts; I like some stuff from blogtalk like Diva-dirt & Greg DeMarco/411mania + pw247radio.com like Shoot Finish, Gorilla Blood and 3 Way w/ Fire & Ice. I Also subscribe to gerweck.net , Aftermath w/ Arda Ocal & Jimmy Korderas and Ringbelles Women of Wrestling podcasts as well as the aforementioned Art of Wrestling.

I like Colt's show, depending on who is the guest. Pro Wrestling Report is also decent.

Colt's show is my fave. I've found that I really enjoy every show, regardless of who the guest is (almost).

I'll second the Ringbelles podcast. That's the only wrestling podcast I subscribe to actually.

WrestleCrap Radio is pretty funny, although it's a bit light on the actual wrestling commentary (that's kinda the point, though) ...

We're back! Five years ago we did a 2 part series detailing the history of Wrestlemanias I-XXII, and now we're back to finish the job. Joe, Justin Shapiro, & Matt Foy are back to recap Manias XXIII-XXVIII. Topics include retcons in Wrestling, Kurt Hawkins & Alex Riley: Mania main eventers, MITB @ Mania: yea or nay?, inexplicable World War III discussion, the ballad of Mr. Kennedy, previewing Mania XXIX, Matt vs. David Simon, Justin vs. traffic, and Joe vs. staying awake (and the world). Tired of Mania talk? Too bad! A monstrous 2 hour (!) show!

Love Joe Vs. The World too and I'm also a fan of Rundown Wrestling and if you're into retro reviews then I'd recommend the Place to Be too

Chris Jericho appears on the latest episode of the Adam Carolla Show, by the way. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet though.

A very entertaining episode ... Jericho got in some nice Japan stories, and they compared Maria Menounos' laugh to a dolphin ;)

Amy "Lita" Dumas is on Colt Cabana's new one too. I downloaded that & Jericho's but chose Amy's first (because I don't like Carolla...the last time I DLed one of his podcasts was for Ben Folds and just found Carolla to be a really obnoxious host). I really respect how far out of wrestling world she has taken herself in "retirement." Most of the podcast is about her time in Mexico, they barely discuss much of her WWE time in any real detail, but still a great listen. I'll get to Jericho's on my commute Monday.

It's really gotta be with a heel whos either huge or technically brilliant. Assuming Angle and Benoit have issues of their own for the next while that really only leaves Big Show or Steiner depending on how he's used.
