The Giants will actually clinch with a win OR a Dallas loss. A win makes them 12-1, 5-0 within the division with 1 division game left, and the best Dallas can do at this point is 12-4, 4-2 in the East. A Dallas loss apparently gives the Giants a win in the common opponents tiebreaker.

Yay, Cleveland is officially out. At least they have the dubious distinction of having (inexplicably) handed the Giants that one loss so far. I actually look forward to seeing how bad the train wreck gets with Dorsey starting the next 4 games. Provided Shaffer doesn't do his 'ole' pass protection and get him killed, that is.

I still can't believe the AFC West. This has got to be tough for Bolts fans. At least Cleveland has a tradition of sucking and underperforming.

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Inf, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army Nat'l Guard! Good luck to those down south.

Believe it or not, if the Packers tie either the Bears, Vikings, or both with a 9-7 record at the end of the season, the Pack wins the NFC North.

Wacky.

And not out of the realm of possibility...with some help.

Sweet, thanks for the catch. You should see my notes when I'm doing all these clinching scenarios by hand. I knew that something didn't feel right about that one.

Well, there's a difference between being a Big 10 fan and being a Michigan fan. I don't think the intention was that Michigan can't brag about beating Florida or having a good record against the SEC, they should.
