From AP: "New York Giants receiver Taye Biddle is recovering from gunshot wounds to his hand and leg after being shot while visiting family in his hometown."
"Biddle was promoted from the Giants' practice squad after receiver Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg last November."

Not to nitpick here, but Biddle replaced Burress in September when he got suspended for various team violations, not in November for the shooting incident. Still, it's pretty scary to think that he's at least the third Giant in recent months to be involved in incidents involving handguns (Steve Smith got held up at gunpoint in front of his house the same weekend as Plaxico's shooting). Hope he recovers, it does sound like the injuries from the shooting weren't career or life-threating.
