smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Downgraded from High; April 4, 2005) Batista & John Cena represent instant upgrades over their predecessors as world champions. However, there's still a general state of backlash around Cena and a specific state over the way he won (however misguided it may be), and the usual tag/cruiserweight complaints persist. The rematches should be interesting, however...
I'll third that. It lacks that one little thing that most WWE shirts have that prevent me from actually buying it*
But the blue shirt? DASSCOOL!
*Perfect example was Christian's shirt from a few months ago. The CAPTAIN CHARISMA on the front I was on board with, but then on the back it had two things stuck together so that it read THAT'S HOW I ROLL CHRISTIAN, which was definitely the sticking point.
I picked the blue one, but I can't say that I disliked any of them, really.
As for embarassing wrestling shirts, WWE has made a habit now of putting the WWE logo right on the front of the golldamn shirt! I bought the Batista shirt with the 'B' on front, thinking it looked cool enough and didn't seem like a pro-wrestling shirt (I wear jackets a lot, so the back doesn't bother me). Soon enough, I take a look at the shirt and see the big, glaring WWE logo right over the 'B'. The shirt has since not been anywhere outside my own backyard.

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.
Blanket Jackson said it right...I hate when they have a decent idea for a shirt but then ruin it with a stupid saying on the back and/or put a giant WWE logo on there. Yeah, I guess the point from WWE's perspective is so people know it's something to do with wrestling, but that's pretty much what keeps me from buying it, like Bulldog suggested.
The more vague it is the better. One of the best things I've seen (and one of the only things I've purchased from WWE in the last 10 years) was an Undertaker hat from a few years back...had some demon-head looking artwork on the front and just said "Big Evil" on the back...no big WWE logo on the side, no giant "UNDERTAKER" anywhere to be seen.
Bah, I'm not embarrassed to wear wrestling shirts in public. I've frequently worn nWo and Four Horsemen T-shirts. I simply want the shirt to look good, which is why I didn't buy the Benoit "toothless wolf" shirt. Now if I can find the one with the x-ray of the guy's neck, DASSCOOL.

Overall i think WWE merchandise has been lacking over the last few years. I wish they would have may more retro stuff and keep them in stock. Last thing i bought that looked cool was the Triple H hooded top. There are also some cool stuff over at wrestlingsuperstore.com. I got an awesome HBK shirt that blows away anything shopzone has for him (although the latest is a step in the right direction). For the Carlto shirt i don't really like any of em. The first one if i had to pick.
I have some PPV tees but I dont really wear them too much (they were given too me.) I think all of them have some incarnation of HHH and/or VKM on them. The two that I have that I actually wear are Rey (with "sorder" on the back) and RVD ("balance".) I'm voting blue for Carlito.
I still think the Mankind smiley face is the best shirt that WWE has ever produced. It's the only one I've ever bought, anyway.
So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.--- Del Preston
The yellowish one is a throwback to old 80s' wrestling shirts, and has a vague resemblence to the old Captain Mike Rotundo shirt, I think.
I like the orange ones, but can I get them done without the apple? I know that the apple is part of his character, but still. It's just tacky.
Count me in as someone who doesn't like the blue done.
The only wrestling shirts I wore were the old DX shirt and the nWo shirts...and I'd like to find the old Hogan one where his mustache was superimposed on a skull wearing sunglasses. That would be awesome! :-)

The 'ankh' shirt is probably my favorite wrestling shirt of all time. It just looks so damn cool. That and the Brian F'n Pillman shirt from ECW are two wrestling shirts that I proudly sport around in public.

The blue shirt is actually reasonable - WWE will probably ruin it by sticking a big WWE logo on it, however. The orange shirts are fine if your name is Carlito, but are obviously "wrestling shirts". The face on the beige one looks like Tito Santana with a 'fro, not Carlito - pass.

I'm going twenty-four hours a day...I can't seem to stop - "Turn Up The Radio", Autograph
Wiener Of The Day - June 10th, 2003 W Of The Day - September 11th, 2004 (add spooky music here)
I showed the pic of the blue one to my roommate, who isn't a wrestling fan. He said he'd wear a shirt like that but wondered why the guy's head was an apple. Damn, I dodn't even notice that.
No, I don't think so. In fact, I think having a PPV every month is really pointless, (especially since there isn't a rival PPV going on during the same month like with WCW).
