Agreed! That shot is quite awesome.
FWIW, I love the close-up of Saba Simba, too.
I went to a house show in September 1989 and brought my camera along. I was really disappointed by the pictures I got, though. Poor lighting, too far away and you couldn't make out more than the ring and maybe the hand of the guy in front of me. I had one of those old cameras that you had to crank between shots-- a "110". Does that sound right?
Some of the pics you have are what I had hoped for. My show also had the Widow Maker, Superfly and Brain Busters vs. Demolition. So I can pretend we were at the same show, you got the shots I wanted and I'm finally seeing them after all these years. Excellent job.
sadly, I spent a lot of time going "dead, dead, both dead..." That's a bit of a sad commentary on the era.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

"TKG: People shit on hardcore matches as being something anyone can do. Well these two guys can't. You watch Eugene vs. Snitsky hardcore rules and you realize "Wow neither of these guys have the ring polish of New Jack"." Pure genius....
