Peter Graves, Jim Phelps of Mission Impossible and Airplane (Captain Oveur) and as Price on Stalag 17 (one of my favorite movies) is dead at age 83

Great actor and, like Leslie Nielson, reinvented himself as a funnyman as an older actor.

He was great in 'Airplane'. But growing up, I actually remember him as the host of A&E 'Biography', back when A&E used to have quality television. I didn't know he was the younger brother of James Arness (Matt Dillon on 'Gunsmoke'); that's a very accomplished duo of brothers. RIP.

Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

Ah Flying High. One of the first movies I saw at the local drive in.

Joey, have you ever been to a Turkish prison?

RIP

RIP. I once again feel the need to apologize for the Mission Impossible series being somewhat popular due to pissing all over his character. He was awesome in whatever he was in.

I felt the need to watch Stalag 17 last night. If you have never seen this movie, I highly suggest it. Hogan's heroes was kind of a parody of this movie. Stars Bill Holden and Otto Preminger plays an awesome camp commander.

Graves plays a german who is posing as an american in the prisoner of war camp. He's great as Price in the movie.

Better to have watched season 3, the best season of the best show in TV history.
