WWE's firing of Daniel Bryan is about as legitimate as a three-legged donkey-- which is not very legitimate at all, because as we all know donkeys have four legs. I'm signed up with the WWE Universe page on Facebook, and a question they recently posed to the fans is, "Should WWE bring back Daniel Bryan?" Why would they ask that question in a public forum if they'd legitimately fired him? They certainly didn't do the same with Carlito, Shelton Benjamin and Mickie James. Bad examples. Think would they have asked it about Jamie Noble (if people cared about Jamie Noble).
From all reports that said "shoot", it was clear that they didn't want to fire him and were going to hire him back at their earliest convenience. Discussion of hiring him back doesn't preclude it being a shoot.
Plus, if this was an intricate work that only Vince, Bryan, and two other people knew, then maybe the guy who posts onto the Facebook universe is not in the loop, but was rather posting on the internet a topic that people on the internet cared about.

Which is probably far higher than anyone would have expected Shawn Michaels to make it once upon a time. Is Bryan Danielson on the same level as Shawn Michaels? Maybe, maybe not, but every time I see Shawn Michaels in old AWA reruns on ESPN, I can't help but think "There's somebody who has no chance of headlining Wrestlemania." | Tyler Durden

You're absolutely right. And Vince Mc Mahon fired the Rockers as well back in the day, because of some backstage party trouble (I don't remember the details - The story's on one of his DVDs, I think). | Alex

Unless Danielson comes back and whines about how Michael Cole ruined his dreams of having "chawldrun" I don't think his eventual return will be that bad. |
