PETA Chief wants to be barbecued, made into purse.

I wonder what she's doing to fatten herself up in the meantime.

I think that that lady has some serious problems.
So now if it's ok to take a human body and cut it up like that(protest or not)then why not do it to animals...

Nice to see that she'll continue grandstanding and doing irrepairable harm to the idea of treating animals nicely long after she dies. /:

I'm sure her wishes probably violate some law against using humans to do that sort of thing.

Wonder who would show up to the barbeque. (Insert obligatory "arm and leg" joke here.)

Yeah, I think they need to add a "C" in front of their acronym.

These are the same folks who complained, and sent a letter to Arafat, when Palestinian terrorists used a donkey (explosives strapped to its back) to bomb a bus in Israel.

Why wouldn't the future designer purse ask Arafat to put an end to terrorist bombings altogether. Well, according to her "It's not my business to inject myself into human wars."

Is it just me, or do these people appear to like animals a whole lot more than they do humans.

I don't think PETA cares about animals more than people - I don't think PETA really cares about animals anymore. PETA just cares about publicity, and everytime they do something "outrageous", you all play exactly into their hands and give them exactly what they want - attention.

"Ms Newkirk, 53, who was born in England"

Oddly it does not make me proud to count this lady is a contryman (countrywoman?). Oh well, at least she's from that odd little bit south of the border where they all talk funny.

And wheres the application forms for the People Against Ridiculous Protests when you need them? Damn.

Thanks...That was my question. The flag is ordered by the government then to fly at half mast depending upon the situation? Makes sense on the 6 day time frame. I'm a new citizen...just never was sure of the rules/etiquette. lazzz
