Vince McMahon and his one ring circus sideshow, is dying a slow agonizing death. Talented ring performers are sitting at home all over the country unable to pay their bills because of the McMonopoly of our business. Yet, staged or not, he dare laugh at a handicapped grappler flopping around the ring like a catfish out of water. It’s sickening. Sometimes I want to bury my head in the sand and pretend I never had a damn thing to do with any of this.
Wow.

When my mom dies I'd like to know it was peacefully in her sleep, and not fucked to death by 38 men with AIDS.
Kinda surprising considering he was there only a few months ago, with a fitting goodbye tribute on www.wwe.com.
I wonder where this is coming from. I am not saying he is wrong....but....you know.....
"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon. Need I say more?"
Man, there were so many "Mc's" in that thing I almost thought the WWE was being run by Ronald McDonald.
Seriously, though, that sexual harrassment deal with Linda and Eric must have been really bad if it got Percy Pringle, a huge wrestling fan and one of the most well-known wrestling managers, to turn off RAW.
I agree with Percy 100%. The WWE is dying a slow, agonizing death. Sadly, though. the key word here is "slow."

If I were an independent wrestler or even a lower card wrestler in WWE, I'd probably be pretty upset with McMahon-mania running wild and taking so much TV time away from the wrestlers.
Right or wrong, they can't be happy wrestling on Heat or Velocity while all these McMahon's, non-wrestlers, and part-time wrestlers get all the TV time. Kind of like how all those guys like Chris Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, etc felt in WCW.

I guess he's upset that WWE haven't contacted him to participate in the Kane angle. It was so much easier when they were paying him to sit at home and care for his wife. Damn that McMahon!
This is the same guy who participated in some of the most cartoonish, embarrassing angles of the last decade, and he's conveniently choosing now to say this? Sad.
I kinda agree. He's saying all this, yet he was dancing around like a turd burglar at Taker vs. Taker to celebrate the Deadman's win.
Anyway, he's right. WWE is hurtin. Do I dare say they need a hardnosed booker like Billy Watts to get the COMPETITION going again?
Fallin back on dat ass with a hellified gangsta lean, gettin funky on the mike like an old batch of collard greens, its the CapitalSohyesNpressiondoubleOP, DOdoubleGY DOdoubleG you see.

Actually I remember him saying he wasn't earning pay when he was home with his wife. Since he's not a wrestler, I don't believe he had a downside guarantee type of deal. Don't know the details, but I heard a radio interview where he was saying they didn't exactly take great care of him.

I don't think anyone would really care if the angles were stupid(funny) rather than stupid(this is lame, what retard wrote this crap?). I look at the positive more than the negative, though I complain about the WWE I like certin things that others who post here hate. When I complain it's because it irks me to no end. I hate Vince on my screen, because he waste time that could be used to forward a storyline of someone I would/do pay money to go see. And the worse part is that they leave huge plot holes in the angle they are trying to put over as big.
But I'm sick off the womanizing, Trish barking like a dog, Lawler with his puppies pupies pupies, Molly has a big ass so she's a heel?, a face can hit/beat up a women but a heel is a cruel bastard when he does it. I like eye candy, hell I like porn, but I don't want porn on my wrestling programs! I wish they would treat some of the woman as classy valets, and when it comes to women wrestlers talk about the matches not about their tits. I'm not bothered if some of the characters are sluty, I just don't like it as the norm. A women who is strong mentally and physically is very sexy, Bra & Panty matches are stupid, what is the point of them? Yes, the point is for a cheap and easy pop, a pop that the writing team should want in response to their writing of angles, not T&A.
The Linda/Bisch thing didn't bother me though, I thought it was kind of stupid. I'm a Bischoff mark and think he plays a great perv, aside from Linda being a bad actress it was wrong of them to put her in a storyline that portays her as weak. I mean, I was on the phone with my friend who was also watching Raw and I said "How the hell can people take her seriously during the next phone press conference to investors?" The lines of her personal life and business life can be easly blurred, more so than anyone else in the company, that's what makes her different from an actress or a female wrestling character. She plays Linda McMahon high powered WWE businesswoman and in real life she is Linda McMahon high powered businesswoman, and It's my belief that they lose investors by treating her like a fool on national TV when she is the public face of the company.

I don't think getting sexually assaulted means she's weak. Being married to Vince after eleven consecutive on-screen affairs, on the other hand, makes her look weak.
P.S. i like porn too

I never get tired of seeing ex-WWE employees badmouthing Vince. Boo-Hoo Paul Bearer, you were fired. NOW you hate Vince, a man who gave you paychecks for a decade while you were doing nothing but gaining weight.
OOOOOOOOOOOH YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!
This is the place where I put a witty signature..... Yeah.
A lot of people hate their bosses yet continue to work for them because they can't just be selfish and think about themselves if they've got a family to support.
Okay, we get it. You don't like what's going in WWE storylines anymore. Great. You think the gotten too ridiculous and controversial. Fine. Especially from someone whose name in said wrestling company was mocking the word ``pallbearer.''
Now shut up for a while. You were the frigging MANAGER for The Undertaker. That's your biggest claim to fame. You weren't a writer. People didn't pay specifically to see YOU; you were just kind of there. You have every right to your opinions; just quit whining for a little while.
King Kong Bundy to return? Montreal screwjob really just a work? None of these questions, plus more, in the latest Inside The Ropes!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ The official Online Onslaught Inside The Ropes archive!!!
Good points? Eh. Is the WWE dying? No. Not a horrible death. Not a slow death. There are and probably will always be enough fans of wrestling for Vince McMahon to stay in business, especially now that he's the only game in town. The guy is pissed that he's not in on any of the real action anymore.
Was the Bischoff segment in poor taste? Situationally, yes. Normally I wouldn't have given two shits, but the fact that it was on a wrestling show with no decernable reasons (besides making Bischoff more assholish and letting him talk about hating Shane, made me hate it. But honestly, I probably won't remember it any more than I remember any other wrestling angle in a few months. It happened, yeah, but honestly, it's a TV show so who the hell cares. It probably won't effect my view of the show any more than any other bad angle. I'll think it was stupid for a few weeks, and then I'll move on. It's not like it'll effect Linda's career, as we only really see her a few times every 6 months. By the next time she shows up, nobody will care.
As for his arguements about Shane and Steph "playing wrestler". Well...He has a point about Stephanie, but Shane is one of the more entertaining wrestlers on the staff. I'd much rather see him wrestle than see him not.
His main issue seems to be that all the McMahon's time should be going to the "talented Indy performers who aren't getting a break". To that I say: Whatever. ECW went out of buisness. WCW went out of business. XWF went out of business before it even started. NWA-TNA isn't making any money. Vince isn't forcing anyone out of business. The "McMonopoly" doesn't exist. There is not a market for wrestling right now. Just enough people are interested to keep one company going, it's not like anybody but the IWC and these wrestlers are clamboring for there to be another wrestling federation out there. If you don't like the WWE, you're out of luck. Does it suck? Yeah. But that's life. Everybody who has tried to get off the ground, besides the Jarretts has failed. And Jerry's hanging by a thread. Even if the McMahons weren't on TV, it's not like there would be tons of roster spots and money for these guys anyway.
I don't care how entertaining some of these guys are, most of them wouldn't get in anyay. Why? Not because they're not good or talented, but simply because Vince McMahon and his staff don't like them. Does THAT suck? Yes, but it's his company and his decision.

Shane's never wrestled a match in his life. He can't even go one physical segment without potatoing someone. All he's done is contrived garbage where he upstages the roster by taking big bumps then leaving for months at a time. He is "playing wrestler" until he goes on the road like a wrestler.
He can't cut a promo, he's fat, his stupid dancing and flaked out lack of a personality destroyed any credibility that WCW invasion could have had. And he was a worse announcer then The Coach.
I will never understand the Shane McMahon love. Maybe it's everyone's fantasy to be able to live off your parent's hard earned money and your wife's parents hard earned money for the rest of your life.

Fuckin' rights, I already got half a fuckin' buzz on
Originally posted by darkdragoonYawn...was there ever even a reason to give a crap about Percy before he became Paul Bearer?
I have no idea how old you are, but judging by your question, I'd say you weren't following wrestling as a whole during the years before Taker & Paul Bearer came to the WWF.
I can say this because, for years, Percy Pringle was one of the top two managers outside WWF. The other person being Jim Cornette. These guys attracted mega heat from the fans, and much like Freddie Blassie, fans would pay just to yell at them and boo them. I would say that JJ Dillon was right behind these guys in getting the heat they consistently received.
Pringle, in particular, was a driving force in the South. He was the Bobby Heenan of managers, long before Heenan was managing his way into fame in the WWF. Pringle was cemented at the forefront of so many federations, because the fans hated him. Just like Bobby Heenan sending heel after heel after Hulk Hogan in the 80's, Pringle did the same against champions like the Von Erichs, Jerry Lawler, et al.
For a long time, Percy was widely regarded for his managerial abilities, but after becoming stereotyped as "Paul Bearer," he's become dispensible. I highly doubt he will ever again have any impact in any large-sized promotion.
So yes, Percy Pringle was worthy of giving a crap about, before he managed Taker.
On a side note... The problem at times with Vince McMahon's WWF and now WWE is that he brings in highly-regarded talent from other promotions, sticks a cartoon personality on them, and damages their character long term. Pringle was one victim of this process. But the Bushwackers, "Saba Simba" Tony Atlas, and "The Red Rooster" Terry Taylor are three of the most-affected, whose careers lost all promise after signing with the WWF. Booker T and "Battle Kat/Blue Blazer" Owen Hart were on their respective ways down the same path, but luck seems to have saved their careers before Vince's character redevelopment ruined them for good.
Is that Wee-Man from Jackass? It seems to fit, he's a crazy little bastard. That move where they picked him up (arms and legs) and slammed him to the mat could have liquefied his organs.
