Sucks for Jet fans. Next to Vick I think Pennington is the best young Quarterback in football. Guess we will see how the 140 year old Vinny Testaverde holds up.

WIENER OF THE DAY! July 6, 2002!

If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink.

I feel bad for Pennington because he did very well last season and was looking to do just as good if not better this season. As a Pats fan though, I can only see this as good news...

I've read rumors that they've talked to the Eagles about AJ Feeley.

To quote Steve Young, J-E-T-S Just End The Season.

Barring a huge Ewing Theory-type effect, the Jets are done. Vinny is a useless quarterback, his one career year notwithstanding. Combine that with their team being strip-mined by the Redskins, and we've got our first playoff team from last year that won't make it back.

Woohoo! The Pats are going back to the playoffs!

Remember kids, wishing ill on another is wrong. Celebrating the ill that comes on a Jet or Yankee is American.

Woohoo!

Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.

Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.

That was happening anyway...

It would only have been SO much finer if it had been Roger's wrist.

Pats are going to the playoffs? Don't hold your breath. With that defence in Miami and their offense healthy, the division title is already spoken for.

I heard an interesting factoid on the radio last night...every year that the Jets have won the division since their Super Bowl, the year after their QB suffers a season ending injury. Namath went down in '70 (I think it was '70), Testaverde went down in the first quarter of the first game of 1999, and now Pennington is likely out for the year.

Serves them right. I never liked the Jets.

As much as I hate the Yankees and Knicks, I never had a problem with the Giants or Jets. Maybe it's because they're really in Jersey. ;)

Lance Leggett, once he cures his occasional case of the dropsies, is going to be the next big reciever at Miami. This year: 13rec 246yds 3tds 18.9avg in limited playing time, but he's shown already he's got GREAT home-run-ball capability.
