Saw Paul last night, and thought it was hilarious. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were hilarious as two British Sci-Fi nerds who come to the USA for a Comicon and then decide they are going on a UFO site roadtrip. Along the way they come across Paul, the Alien and embark on a trip for him to meet a space ship to get back home. A TON of call backs from older Sci-Fi movies, and one liners.

And, I know a lot of people don't like her, but Kristin Wiig was great as a daughter of a bible thumper who's entire world is upended once she meets Paul and realizes her religion might not be legit.

I can see it if Jack leads the effort to leave the island and return to their lives, and Locke leads the effort to stay and explore their new ones. And that would follow the early theme of game pieces regarding Locke.
