I heard the same arguments after Milloy left. Same with Ted Washington. With Ted Johnson, he did have a resurgance last year but the past 2 Super Bowl winning teams for the Pats before last year he was out most of the time due to injury, and I say that with all the respect due Johnson. He was one of my fsvorites. Don't count out the Pats just yet.
Presumably the Browns decided Brady Quinn isn't ever going to be The Guy, and to be fair he's given them plenty of cause to think that way. He *might* turn it round in Denver, but in Cleveland he was done.
