What total domination by the Patriots today...again. I could go on for hours about this, but I think the folling says it all:

JETS ATT YDS AVG
Matt Turk 1 14 14.0
Chad Pennington 1 9 9.0
Curtis Martin 4 5 1.3
LaMont Jordan 1 3 3.0
Richie Anderson 1 1 1.0
Jerald Sowell 1 0 0.0

That's right, the top 2 rushers in today's game for the Jets were their punter and backup quarterback.

BTW, when was the last time a punter led his team in rushing in a game? Has it ever happened other than today?

I think the Patriots will win the Super Bowl, even though the AFC East is the toughest division in football.

And the Jets were favoured, too. Oops.

I hate Bilicheck, but his defensive schemes are brilliant and Tom Brady has got ice water running through his veins. The Jets were humiliated today and the Pats showed (again) why they are the Champions. I'm sure they're sick about everyone asking them about respect, they don't care what anyone thinks--they just demolish the opposition.

To this day i'm still giving props to the Pats for being introduced as a unit, and not pick off a few star players and intro them, like the Rams...

such a contast. Warner, Faulk, Issac Bruce & the rest are here on Gill-oops...off on a tangent there
and the pats, who were underdogs through and through and went 11-5 (or was that 10-6?) last year and took it all...

What great loyalty by the J-E-T-S fans. The building was almost empty by the beginning of the fourth quarter. And where were firehat men and the other bandwagon jumpers.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

Pouring Rain, 82 degrees, 100% humidity, down by 30 and the impending NY/NJ Sunday night traffic add up to and empty stadium. I don't know if I'd classify the Jet fans as bandwagon jumpers, they've been sold out for years. When I moved to NYC in 1991 I put my name on the waiting list for Jet season tickets, I was assigned # 26,127 and I've moved up about 1,500 spots in ten years (the Giants are twice as tough). It's impossible to get pro football tickets in NYC without paying a scalper price.
