It couldn't come at a worse time for Miami, since they're not only on pace to miss the playoffs and are still missing Shaq, but are also about to embark on a road trip through the Western Conference. Tough time to be a Heat fan.
While I have sympathy for his physical problems, and wish him the best, why do I think he will come out of his surgery and rehab in better shape than Shaq?
(Couldn't resist, especially after the Suns blew them out last night).

Hahahaha! Maybe that's the solution to the Heat's woes as of late-- maybe Shaq should coach the team and Riley should be the starting center.

This story is just surreal...I think the most accurate comment I heard on it all summer was that if you wrote this as a movie and tried to sell it to Hollywood, you'd be shot down for not being realistic...
