I was also surprised to learn that he was only about 52 when he played Mr. Miyagi. Sad... Live long and be fabulous.

I recommend you all find a way to see "Only the Brave" which I think is his last film and another great dramatic performance from him. If you read my comic you'll be like the tenth person (after SOK and Tricia) to do so in three years,

These are not happy days for Fonzie and the gang. RIP, Mr. Morita. He was a popular attraction until he choked to death on a corn kernel.

Those Karate Kid movies...whenever they're on TV, I can't turn away.

Especially since he's been actively doing cameos during the last year, his most recent appearence being on "Robot Chicken." I'll never forget the Karate Kid and his brilliant cameos and the acting world has experienced another incredible loss. Wax on, wax off indeed. This pretty much says it all

Also, have to give Morita credit for some of his cameos on the early episodes of MASH. Cannibalism: The cure for famine and overpopulation.

Not really that funny, though the second one was better. The fake PSA's ("The More You Know") are definitely worth a look- especially Dwight's. It's just hard to sit through a 30 second ad before watching a 10 second clip.
