So once again Pat Burns is being reported as having died today at the age of 58. About a month ago there was a report that he had died, only to have had it pulled when Pat Burns called TSN and said "I'm not dead yet"
I figured I'd post this anyways given the erroneous report not too long ago. He was a great a coach and a real shame he didn't get elected in the HoF this year while still alive. Of course I loved his time as Leafs Coach but he was still a great coach everywhere he went.
I like the shootout (only for the regular season) as it does add some excitement. It is one of the most exciting plays in ice hockey and it's pretty cool to watch. Removing the red line should provide for more breakout opportunites as well.
