So once again Pat Burns is being reported as having died today at the age of 58. About a month ago there was a report that he had died, only to have had it pulled when Pat Burns called TSN and said "I'm not dead yet"
I figured I'd post this anyways given the erroneous report not too long ago. He was a great a coach and a real shame he didn't get elected in the HoF this year while still alive. Of course I loved his time as Leafs Coach but he was still a great coach everywhere he went.
True, the Penguins were spending below that level. There are problems unique to different teams that the league can not address through collective bargaining. The Pens play in an arena that should be condemned...how does the league solve that?
