On ESPN2 this friday, from 8pm onward is one of the biggest high school games in the country. Highlights of the Parkview/Norcross game will be shown throughout the Fresno game, and the halftime of the college game will be used for the Norcross game. Some info on the rivalry: Norcross is 5-0 this year, Parkview is 6-0 this year and is on a 36 game (state champs two years in a row, undefeated both years) winning streak, and is number 2 in the NATION! Norcross the past two years has given Parkview there closest game of both years, last year Parkview only won 21-19. Norcross also has the homefield advantage. It should be a great game in a Rockyish type vein: the underdogs who put up a good fight vs the powerhouse. Just to let everyone know, I am from Norcross and played Varsity ball for them for 3 years.... so guess who I am rooting for!
I have to argue with you there. It's close, but the NFC East is still on top. Here are the NFL standings, by division, counting only non-divisional games. NFC East: 11-4 (0.733) NFC South: 11-5 (0.688) AFC East: 9-5 (0.643) AFC South: 7-4 (0.636)
