I'm starting to get legitimately angry that people aren't watching this show. It's on the same night as four other comedies I love (the other NBC shows and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia) and it's been the best of the night almost every week* this year, last night no exception. And that's why I would be a great contestant on Deal or No Deal!
*: Unless someone cheats with a Roddy Piper cameo or something.
Originally posted by JustinShapiro I guess out of freshness, I think I'm actually more excited for the first hour on NBC Thursdays than the second, and that's a pretty huge statement (from my brain to my comedy endorphins).
I know exactly what you mean! I feel the same way. The first hour has that thrill of discovery and unpredictability. By the time 30 Rock rolls around at 9:30, I'm almost all laughed out and my interest has waned.
Was anyone else chanting "Rudy, Rudy. Rudy!" when Lynn was running down the corridor with that heroic music playing? Also, that scene with the security guard saying goodbye to his daughter was hokey, but damned if it didn't work on me.
