Bittersweet finale considering how long we have to wait to go back to Pawnee. But maybe by the time we get back there, the government will be up and running again.

We reaffirmed how vital Leslie is and what a great character she has become this season. Michael Scott would never have the universal respect from co-workers for work ethic, loving the job, and caring about people Leslie Knope has.

I love how protective Ron is of Leslie, and the crazy bump he took on the grass when he ran to the park to warn her "They're coming!" They can't fire Leslie. I would have suggested giving Gerry a raise and a promotion and then firing him.

The good cop/bad cop dynamic between Rob Lowe and Adam Scott cracks me up every time.

I can't believe I'm actually going to miss Mark. I wouldn't have thought so before, but he had a very subtle and graceful exit. Plus he was a quiet voice of sanity. I guess Adam Scott is sliding into that role for however long he sticks around.

Tom playing Boys II Men "End of the Road" during sex is so perfect. As was Ron's bacon wrapped turkey leg and how impressed Tom's new girl was.

The tag at the end - Ron got it on with Tom's ex-wife! I almost missed it because of NBC's stupid timing issues where my DVR cuts off the tag every week.

April and Andy - they found a way to deny us the coupling we've been wanting all season, but still keep both completely lovable.

Andy: "There's an old saying in show business: The show must go wrong. Everything always goes wrong, and you just have to deal with it." Profoundly true. Certainly has been the case of every movie or video shoot I've ever been a part of.

I miss these people already. It's going to be a long however long until they're back on television.

No mention of Ron's new ringtone? A shotgun cocking & firing? Soooo awesome.

I hope Outsourced crashes & burns hard in order to get P&R back early.

It was "On Bended Knee" actually, which makes it one million times cooler IMO for being a far less recognizable Boyz II Men song.

And speak for yourself on wanting to see April and Andy together! When they kissed it just seemed all wrong and creepy to me. I eventually found myself able to deal with the flirting but that was mostly because Andy seemed so clueless. I'd love to see the new, fleshed-out, less self-absorbed version of Andy have another try with Ann.

I was dying. Dying. I think I got all my platitudes out of the way last week about how far the show has come and what a nuanced world it's created. But it's super-impressive. I hope that five years from now we'll be bemoaning how broad and tired this show has gotten too.

I just started watching this show last week, so I'm hoping they put the dvd out within a few months. I've only seen two episodes, but I think Ron has to be my favorite character, because he reminds me of my dad. The shotgun blast ringer seals the deal.

Such a bittersweet episode. I love the plot of the government shutting down leading into the summer and fall hiatus. It's going to be a long year in Pawnee.

Andy's motorcycle crash was hysterical.

Tom's new girlfriend (Lucy, right?) is awesome. LOVED Rob Lowe (Chris, right?) walking in on them. LOVED Tom still trying to hit on Anne, except that he's joking. But seriously...

I wish they would just pull the trigger on April and Andy already. After Anne warning the camera that she's apt to do stupid things after a break-up, how could she do that? Andy needs to ditch her hard so he can win back April, but he's too stupid to figure that out. It'll be interesting to see where everyone is in like 8 months time.

You believe me, don't you?

The sooner Rob Lowe is off this show, the better. His character is kind of funny, but largely annoying.

Adam Scott can stay, though.

It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects.

My wife and I laughed for five minutes. We had to rewind the Internet feed because we missed what happened after. And of course, the SWANSON, with the super impressed look from Lucy.

I can only hope that coming in mid-season doesn't negatively affect the show, because this is my FAVORITE TV Show right now.

You know, I really don't know what to put here. Close your eyes and thank of something funny!

I finally got caught up on my DVR after an extended vacation, and went looking for Ron Swanson's ringtone. I found this instead: Dan Goor answers questions about Freddy Spaghetti.

Awesome to read that Ron's bump at the park and Andy's crash at the beginning weren't exactly scripted. Also loved that Rob Lowe's clap during Leslie's singing was improvised. This cast is ridiculously amazing.

I hope Community and P&R can keep up this streak they're on.

That had to be the most graphic episode I can remember, what with the eyeball, the "ball-ball", and the final slice. Gave me the screamin' heebie-jeebies. I am an Elias Koteas fan, so I enjoyed his role immensely.
