Unfortunate for London, pretty much expected for Palumbo.

They're just baiting TNA to revive Billy & Chuck. Don't fall for it, TNA !!!

As for London, as with others I really like, if they're not going to use him, I'm glad they released him. Place your bets, gentlemen, place your bets.

I agree with Emma. While I can't say I'm pleased with his release, if it sees London eventually join the ranks of the X Division, then I'm a happy camper.

Yeah, I always want my favorite guys to go to a company where they'll get paid less, too.

The writing was kind of on the wall there when they changed Layla's name to "Layla London." Palumbo I had completrely forgotten about.

I want them to be where they're happy. (I wouldn't want to make assumptions about where that is, though.)

I guess these were cuts due to the economy and poor TV ratings? Hopefully things will change with Obama.

Well, they were completely unused, so I guess it's great that they'll be back on my TV soon enough, albeit with a different company.

London can help toward bringing lost glory back to the X-Division, and while Palumbo had become serviceable in the ring after his Japan stint, I'm not sure where TNA could use him.

While true, we should be happy at least half the tag team got a good push. I really thought both London and Kendrick were going to fall off the radar, so while not ideal I'll be content with how this one worked out.

Palumbo will be back.

Obviously, I'm not privy to London's financial dealings with the WWE, but it's quite possible that someone at his level could easily make more money working for TNA and taking independent bookings than he was making in the WWE.

I know Raven claimed he was making far more money on the independent circuit, but I believe he was also getting $1500 per booking, which is probably more than double what London could get.

Palumbo's almost certainly heading to one of the two big promotions in Mexico. Probably AAA, if I had to pick.

I am amazed that London, a guy barely bigger than Rey, was employed by WWE for something like five years. When he went there from ROH I figured he would be back in 6 months.

Of course now I'm hoping to hear "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" fire up at the ROH PPV taping in Chicago this month.

London already had a good run in TNA back in the Asylum years, around 2003 I believe. I really liked him then, and was sorry that he was so underused by WWE. Yes, I know he and Kendrick held the tag belts for along time, but how many times did they defend them on PPV? Sadly, that was his legacy in WWE, a long tag reign when no one cared about the belts.

I know some negative fans will label him as a "WWE cast off", but I think this would be a great pick up for TNA. A great, unique athlete still in his prime.

Yep. Key words there: Still in his prime . It's a bit of rarity in TNA in terms of the WWEjects.

Agreed, with maybe Christian and Rhino being the exceptions.

Sadly, I don't see London joining the MEM, though. ; )

And Morgan and Bashir. Usually my rule of thumb concerning WWEjects is "oh god no" but London would be a great pick up (EDIT! - oh hey and maybe Burke, too). I think -- unfortunately -- that the only way TNA will pay attention to the X Division is if they get some high-profile ex-WWE guys in there.

I sometimes forget Morgan and Bashir were even in the WWE. Probably because compared to Angle, Booker, Nash, or even London, those guys did very little while they were in WWE. I think Morgan could be the future of TNA, if he continues to progress.

So there seems to be two categories of WWE rejects, IMO:
1. So called has beens who are past their prime.
2. Younger, talented guys, who just never got a chance in WWE, for various reasons.
